Easiest mod for low rev torque MC65?

My kid has an MC65, very nice and powerful bike. But we mainly run enduro/trail riding, so the powerband i a little too peaky.

What's the easiest way to shift the power to lower part of revrange?

I was thinking of putting in an fixed exhaust valve, but the cylinder has a three port exhaust, which makes it pretty complicated to fix. Is there any chemical compounds that would last the temperatures in the exhaust? Like JBweld or smth?
Or should I change the exhaust pipe?

Any other ideas?

So come out all you twostroke tuners :)

You can try the standard 2-stroke tricks withen reason:

Thinner base gasket
Add compression
Advance timing

If its a powervalve motor you can preload the governer spring slightly more to delay the PV opening.

Also anything you can do to add volume to the head pipe should help. Depending on how the pipe mounts, fits, and how much slop you have, you may be able to space it out from the cylinder slightly(added gaskets, spacer, etc).

I'm not familiar with these as there are not many here, but they have a reputation of being very fast.

You could fill the hooks in the transfer ports with jb weld. It will direct the flow towards the center of the cylinder make a more user friendly power band. When I do it I just set the cylinder flat on the back side of the cylinder and let gravity settle the epoxy so that the hooks are covered.
