Well I just picked up an 2003 EC 200. I got a really good deal on it. I took the bike out in the Florida woods. I put the bike through hell!! Log jumps, water crossings, tight woods, and open straights, this is such a fun bike!!. I got back to the truck and noticed that a hose that runs from the power valve cover to the cooling fins on cylinder, appeared to be severed. Is this a breather hose? and if so what does it do? I noticed an oily goo dripping out. Maybe the guy I bought it from did a mod? I've done mods on 4-strokes with breathers routed to airboxes, but this is new to me. It seems to be in a vunerable spot. I guess I need the skid plate. Went to parts diagrams, can't find this hose? I'm confused? Thanks
