ec 300 2007-2012/13 ??

my 2007 ec 300 has seen better days. it has been beaten this year do me me spending more time on the floor than on the bike. so i have decided to treat it to a freshen up over the winter. I have a friend who has a 2012 250 and he has just replaced all the plastics including the light and had given me his old parts including a subframe (the stock weak one).

so over the next few weeks i'm going to see if its possible to transform the 2007 into a 2012. (if all else fails it will have a 12 front end and rear 2011).

before i start i thought i would post to see what advice people have on this, maybe someone else has tried this already ??

Chris, Not to be a downer but I think you will find this task near to impossible? But, I don't know you or your skill level for machining and such. But you will discover that the differences between the pre12' and the later bikes are as different as night is to day. All except the motor. It would be an easier task to update your 07' to newer style graphics if you wanted a different look.

Thanks for the reply. More the front end i would like on the light and fender. I have picked them up today. After looking at the back end i have decided to put the 08> rear on and 12 front and just get a set of graphics.
