Does anybody no and can explain to me how to check the stator on my ec200 its an 06 model it runs for a few minutes then dies like it runs out of fuel but it looses spark then I let it set for a few minutes (less than 5) and it gets spark and will start again any help thanks also if you no what ohms it should read would be great info also thanks

This might help it has the resistance specs http://www.gasgas.com/manuals/ec_shopmanual_06.pdf
check resistance cold and at operating temp.
Good chance if it won't run your resistance will be over 2000 ohms at your problem source.

I would start with the simple things first, kill switch and wiring, spark plug cap and connection to coil wire. all wiring and ground contacts.
Have you made any repairs just before this happen? Always a good place to start.

Ec200

It starting acting up last time I rode it I thought it was a fuel issue the only things I have done are new plug new fuel cleaned carb it still won't run more than a few minutes I am lost I've called a few local dealers but Gasgas seams to be a foreign language to them I try to say its a 2t dirt bike they are all pretty much the same so I guess I'm going to have to take a couple hour drive to a Gasgas dealer I'll post the solution when/if it gets fixed thanks for your advice
