ec200 wanted on the cheap

a buddy of mine is looking to start riding with me this year so were trying to find him a good starting bike. he looked@ a kdx 200 he really liked, but he wants to get a gas gas.
we both live in montana. he had 2k saved up but then his car imploded( 1200 to fix) so the cheaper the better..

I've got an '05 DE 200 I'm trying to sell. It's got Ohlins at both ends, shoulderless Dirt Star rims and a dual map ignition, along with a bunch of LTR parts. The bike's in great shape, but shows cosmetic wear in the usual places I think it's worth $2000. Also, I'm not close to your location (Alabama).

Yup...it would be nice to have a 200 setup for tight woods and a 300 for higher speeds.
