EC300 Silencer broken!

So it looks as though my silencer has broken up inside, I'm yet to rip it to bits as I've just rejetted on the path outside my house as some ****ard has blocked the alley letting me into my back garden with scaffolding (the great windy day 2013 ruined his roof ).

Anyway, bust silencers, tell me everything! I'd rather rip out what I can and carry on than buy a new one atm, money is like women are not after all!

Undo screws, drill out rivets, pull apart and investigate. Unless it's completely corroded or a weld has broken, just replace the packing.

The perforated steel tube was snapped at both ends, removed the lot and riveted back together, this'll do fine until I buy a new one!

Howdy, any other bike silencers fit the EC300?

This isn't that uncommon, the metal is thin. Google to find some perforated tube the same thickness & weld in for permanent fix. No point wasting money on another muffler; stock is a good unit.
