Why does your 05' have a hockey stick silencer? I thought they quit that style muffler in 99'?

Sorry I have only recentley become a gasgas owner and thought you refered to a hockey stick silencer because the body is welded into 2 sections with an angle about half way down the body.

In the US the 2000+ bikes got the FMF TC2 silencers. Do you have a pic that sounds like a GG hockey stick muffler.
