went on my first official ride today, went to the Desoto National Forrest riding area, hooked up some guys from Baton Rouge and rode 14 mile single track trail. The GASGAS performed and ran flawless, everyone was impressed with it and many guys talking about selling their KTM's and buying a GASGAS. Didn't get many pics this time, still stoked I didn't have any issues with bike and managed not to crash lol..

And a big thanks to all the fellas I bought parts from and got tech help. I'd be a duck without water with out the resources this site provides:D

Nice ride... Take some pictures of your next rip to share with us.

Hey the more guys we can get off pumpkins the better...

Yeah, and they even differ Ohlins to Ohlins. If you look at my conversion thread I took a 2003 MC250 that had a Ohlins factory option front end on it and an EC250 that also had an Ohlins option front end. However, the forks turned out to be different, the EC had 46mm Ohlins and the MC had 48mm Ohlins. The axle was also different. I called Ohlins USA both of the fork part codes indicated they were sold to Gas Gas for use as an "OEM" fork. Mark at GoFasters was a little befuddled by this as well.

Went back to same trails today and made a novice mistake, well two mistakes. First mistake cranked bike with exhaust plug still in and fouled the spark plug. Second mistake was leaving replacement spark plug at home.

Sorry to hear. Were U able to get a replacement nearby? I remember the time I forgot my helmet. Luckily the driver was willing to backtrack to the closest bike shop, where I bought a new one. We were two hours away from home.

I went back home, at first wasn't sure why it wouldn't crank, put the new plug in at home and cranked right up. Lesson learned..
