Well, I finally put in my first ride of the season. It wasn't an extremely long one, but it was enough. I got my bike put back together on Tuesday, but it was pouring rain so I held off until today. It rained for most of today, but this evening after dinner it stopped raining so I went for a quick burn. My Gasser ran like a champ, same as always. The trails were very slick from the recent rain, but my GasGas excels in these conditions. I was pretty rusty from having 8 months off (damn school) so I had a few crashes, but nothing serious. I got a mean case of arm pump though. Also, my suspension seemed extremely stiff so it's either I'm going to slow compared to last year (this seems likely after 8 months off) or someone messed with it. I'm hoping to get another ride in tomorrow and I'll do some suspension testing. Man it feels great to be back on a bike!
