Fork Bleeders

What size thread do the '06 'Zoke Shiver Forks have for a fork bleeder. Are they the same as a KTM?

Cladoo,

I got a set on my WP's and really like the bleeders. It's fun to make them go "pssst". They will stick up a bit due to the M4 thread adaptors, so I rotated my fork legs to get the bleeders in the 12 o'clock position. In this position, my handlebars do not interfere with them. Also, be gentle on tightening them down... they are M4 aluminum threads. Just tighten lightly to compress the oring and you're good to go. With a 10mm wrench it is very tempting to over-tighten... just use one finger on the wrench. :D

I bought the Moose bleeders for a Jap bike from Dennis Kirk. They have a 5mm thread so I drilled and tapped my fork caps to fit. They only stick up about 1/4" and work great.

bleeders

I have a set of bleeders off an 06 300xcw I just sold. When i was buying them
the bleeders for KTM sx models were different. Are the 4mm the onesfor the exc/xc/xcw? And which GG do they fit? I assume you're talking about 45mm on the dc/ec's. Are the 50mm the same?

The Anderson Automatics fork bleeders on ebay do not require any adapter and are works of art. No problems for a full season. :) :) :) They just screw right in- no tapping.
