Front forks?

I just aquired a 2005 ec250 and I was wondering, how can I tell what front forks I have? They are gold in color so I'm thinking ohlins? I don't have a caliper to measure them. When they say 45mm, is that measured at the triple tree? Thanks guys. So far this forum and the people in it has been the most helpful forum with the friendliest people in it I've ever joined. Thank you guys for all the help.

I can not tell from the small photo. While it is possible that they could be Ohlins, I think they are likely Marzocchi (Zokes). Measure the silver / stainless fork tube not fork body at the clamp.

Pretty sure the Marzocchi would have been black not gold. Could be KYB's with Gas Gas triple clamps.

The Olhins appear to have a black dust seal at the bottom of the upper fork and are a darker gold, if I'm correct the KYB don't, I'd have to look at my bike.

I own a 2004 EC200 with gold Zokes, but I did not buy it new so who know what happened before I bought it.

Couldn't get a measurement. If it is Jim's old bike, that would be pretty awesome. Do you know what Jim's number was?

It is hard to tell. Can you provide a few photos that shows more of the forks including the top caps.

Finally got around to taking a picture of the top of the right fork... Any ideas?

Those aren't Ohlins. I have an 04 with Ohlins, not the same. The top caps look exactly the same as the Marzocchis that came on my 06, but the stanchions were black, not gold.

They are marzocchi caps, I?d say they are either 50?s or an odd ball gold anodised set of outers. Possibly of another bike eg husky. It should have had 45mm zokes stock.

They do work real well for what I use it for so at least that's good. Looks like c cycle probably did a lot of work to them also. They don't have their own brand of forks do they? I've never actually checked them out.

If you are talking about CCycle having their own brand of forks the answer is no. They are a suspension shop out of East Hampton CT.
