front sag

Ive been reading up on sag, the back seams easy enough, it seam that front sag is a bit more of a can do it no you cant do it .
Im interesded in checking my bike and setting the suspension up, for my weight and my bones getting bigger lol
Any thoughts on this and how can it be done

It is not as easy due to the stiction being much higher on the front, but i found this a while back and have used it.

that's good just done the math's and I got

front. 282mm travel 14% = 39.5mm static. 25%= 70mm rider

rear 320mm travel = 11%35mm static, 34% 108mm rider

am I correct with the travel for a 2003 with mozzi 45mm and Ohlin's its what I found in the manual

I check in on the cafe husky forum form time to time. They too have some great stuff over there and seem to be a great group of riders with a lot of respect for each other and their comments and help.!!!

I guess if you are not getting those numbers with your current springs you will know what direction to (harder or softer) change them but I do not know how you would work out what spring rate to get ... easiest to ask the gurus on here!

I've been looking for springs just in case and I can't seem to find nout
There's only stuff here in the uk for jap bikes or craptm(ktm )
I've never got this in depth with springs etc so forgive me if there's some bone questions

Check with your local KYB distributor. They should be able to get you springs of the correct rate in a variety of lengths. Sag is often adjusted with preload, but if you want to achieve a nice supple feeling in the forks (or in a shock for that matter), try to minimize preload while maintaining sag.

would my cr500 one's be the same, em soz can you elaborate about the preload having a blond moment lol
