Front sprocket thing and random leakage

Hi, My gasser is almost ready for inspection and then its time for styling.
1. Ive noticed that the front sprocket is only secured with a circlip.
This gives the front sprocket the ability to slide left and right on the shaft.
This feels very sketchy as I literally hear it scratching against the circlip when turning, but also that the chain wont be straight at those points.
Is it possible to use washers or a spacer like you have in between the front sprocket and the case. This way the front sprocket will always be secured and I can feel safer.
2. Between the crankcase and the clutch big case, it is leaking. The gasket is brand new and screws are tightened. Why??
Could it be that the gasket is too lowly placed. I can feel it sticking out way more on the bottom than on the top
Thanks

Make sure you have the spacer and two o-rings behind the counter shaft sprocket.

As for the inner clutch cover to case leak, was the surface cleaned of all the old gasket and no burrs or scratches between the two surfaces? Did you use a quality gasket? Also, did you torque the bolts down evenly?

I have the spacer etc behind the counter shaft sprocket. However the sprocket can still slide on the shaft and press against the circlip. I was wondering if I can put a spacer between the circlip and the sprocket to make it sit snug.
Yes, gasket surface etc was clean. OEM gasket. Bolts torqued evenly

Is the sprocket new or used? Is the chain properly aligned and running straight? On a stand, push up on the bottom of the chain, to pull the top of the chain tight. Then view from behind the bike on the top of the chain to see if the sprockets are in line and the chain is running straight.

Some bikes need the axle adjusters to be set different from the right to left side to properly align the chain. If the chain does not run straight it can put angular force the front sprocket and cause it to wear and run on an angle.

Yes I know, the chain is supposed to be straight to not wear out sprockets and itself.
As it seems to be confusion I will send a picture or link a video where you can see what I mean.

Interestingly the 2006 125 shows the sprocket bolted on chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.motocrosscenter.com/pdf_manual_gasgas/2006_ec_mc_sm_partlist.pdf

I know my 300 had the circlip but it was a relatively tight fit, couldn't slide from side to side, just felt a little wobbly

Originally they have a nut but when you buy a new gear box, they dont.
Please use the following link to watch the video where I show the play that I am describing, if you feel unsure, you can watch the pictures but the video is way better:

Washer

I see what you guys mean that the sprocket is thicker after I made some research.
However I went to see the parts manual for the Gasgas ec 125 but for the 2013 version. That one also uses a circlip but that one has a washer/spacer between the circlip and the front sprocket.
I think we are getting a bit out of topic. My wonder was if I could have a washer/spacer there to fill the gap and make the front sprocket go straight and not move at all, and by looking at the 2013 manual I guess we can say that it would work perfectly fine.
How much do you guys think I should fill? Should I leave some play for the front sprocket or should I just make it very snug?

from memory it is not snug, it just rattles a little, probably measure it all up so that thesprocket face lines up with the circlip as a start.
