Gasser on Facebook

Those EC bikes are just sooooooo sweet looking with the red hubs and red annodized fork tubes (IMO). The Six Day bike is really nice as well but I just love the red anno forks of the regular EC bikes.

Darn.....still no pictures of the new e-start motor. This is driving me nuts! I want to see that thing bad.

Also of interest and must be pollution related was this pic...

Too bad the hubs are painted red instead of annodized like the GG250f prototype you see in the pictures.

Where did you find that picture? Is it from a current model in N/A?

I have looked at all the pics I can find and none of them have the pollution stuff on them.

Yes it's on a new model bike. I think it must be a small air injection pump on the catalyst equiped Euro models.

Follow the Face Book link above and click on one of the EC bike pics to bring up a bigger picture. Then keep clicking and different pics show up. All really nice close ups on different areas of the bikes.

Thx,

I was looking at a brochure my dealer gave to me. None of the EC's on it were licensable.

The one from face book clearly is on a licensed EC.

Looks like the EC250 FSE sprouted a hydraulic actuator for the clutch as well.

We'll have to wait and see what comes here, and the first container should be making land any day now. I'm hoping for anodized hubs ...

twowheels....good catch on the hydro clutch actuator, I totally missed that one.

Red annodized hubs would be sweet but I don't think we'll see that:( To look good the the hub needs to be polished or machined smooth first and that's an additional costly step. GG hubs seem rough cast and perfect for a powder coat process so it's easy. The red color looks like it should be a bit darker to me also while I'm being picky;)

Quite agree, not looking good for a end of the month release. come on gasgas at least release sum pictures! not sure it can wait if if it's going to be a 2011 model.

I believe GasGas Pacific up here in the "Great White North" has some 2010's that have landed already.

I've also heard a rumor (and it is just that a rumor.) That we will not see any magic button bikes til well into April or later.

Time will tell I guess.

Honestly...unless you have back or leg problems why bother with the extra weight of the magic button? Gassers are a breeze to kick start under any conditions.

Really? Can you kick start a bike when it's rolling backwards down a steep hill? Hills where the front brake alone will hold the bike from rolling backwards are not steep. If you have one foot on the rear brake and one on the kick starter how do you balance your bike?

Don't see any one complaining that they that they took crank handles of cars:D It just makes life easier:)

Well...you got me there. I can't argue with that logic.

However I will say that of all the dirtbike I've owned, this one is far less prone to stalling than any other. Furthermore I've climbed plenty of steep/technical climbs on my "tractor" and it's never stalled in this situation. That said...there's always a first...

True enough. :)

I cannot believe there is a bike out there right now that is even tempting me to move from my '06 EC. However the '10's may well be the ticket. They are beautiful aren't they?

We have a new dealer in the Detroit area who is planning test rides for the spring. Needless to say, I'm chomping at the bit to compare!
