If i put my bike in 1st i can feel the compression of the engine, now hook up 2/3/4/5 and there is no resistance like the clutch is pulled in.
knick 6th and there's compression again.
the gear lever does move but its not smooth, although it was never silky smooth.
I took my engine to a guy to press out the crankshaft , who also took out the gears and bound them all together using zipties.
so i assume he put the all back in as he took them out.
I have assembled the rest of the engine and put the selector shaft and everything as per the GG manual i have.
any ideas, i have a feeling that the selector drum is the offender here, is it possible that he has not put the selector drum the right way round.
I am gutted as i have spent a looong time rebuilding this engine and only just put everything back together fluids etc.
I guess its engine back apart time hey.
