Hi,
i have done an observed trial event on a very hot day, eg very low speed, lots of clutch control work in hilly woods over 2 hours..
im sure the motor temp/bhp was compromised at times with these conditions..i would appreciate any same or similar experiences, that have been improved with the use of Putoline ice cooler...Engine ice..or Evans powersport 180.
At present i run 50/50 de-ionised water with blue anti freeze in my GG ec 250 2009 with the standard expansion bottle..

In this conditions (whithout air flow) I think it is important to adapt an fan from trials motorcycles.

+1 one of the connectors on my trials bike fan failed during a trial, and although I managed to finish the event, it was running really badly. Would be even worse with enduro bike gearing. I believe that fitting computer fans to KTM four strokes (they do seem to brew up easily) has been done, can't see any reason the same solution wouldn't be workable on a Gas Gas.

If your bike has a thermostat, remove it and use an aftermarket impeller. My 2011 was very resistant to boiling.
