I thought about that to but, I noticed when anyone asks about a camera refers to it as a gopro wether it is or not. They seemed to have lined themselves up pretty well in the action camera world.

I agree. Life cycle of an electronics is short. It's too late. IPO is a great way for the owners to cash out at their peak. Their biggest value is in their name not the product.


Forgot to say. I sure never imagined Harleys' brand would drive profit for decades like it has. Amazing what the public will spend money on.

I signed on a week ago to get in on the IPO. Hoping it does well! Agreed there name is everything. Just watch any moto sport and you will see the GoPro banner, even at Erzberg and I'm pretty sure every Red Bull event.

PS just want to add, I have no experience regarding shares/stock exchange etc so don't base your financial future on my logical engineer's thoughts

It seems the more hype a IPO has the riskier the initial purchase, think Facebook. But it has bounced back as of late and is looking to be a strong stock.
