Guts replacement foam - Can it be shaped?

I had my 07 seat reworked for comfort. The company said that they had a hard time with the stock seat and only could do so much.

If I get the aftermarket cover and the guts foam, is there more breathing room to modify the foam with the guts foam, say to make it wider in the top area and a bit lower than say the stock foam mold style?

I used Enduro Engineering Tall Soft foam on my 04' and modified it to fit. It is much more comfortable than the Guts Tall Soft.

Perhaps you might look into the 08/09 seat. It's supposed to be much better than the 07 torture device.
