I read some posts and still confusing...about the answers.
Looking for recommended aluminium closed handguards
I most concern about the fitment, I dont want to do any modification, or drilling...
which one is a Just plug and play?

Thanks!

Enduro Engineering but the bar clamps are specific to your bar type. My new bike has twin walls and the bar clamps have TW stamped on them. I had cycra bar clamps on my old bike with the hebo bars and they have MG stamped on them. I would think that stands for magura.

The clamps which fit the best are ones for Magura bars off a KTM. You may still have to bend the actual aluminium bars a bit.

Fastways are also worth looking at

The Fastways are great - they incorporate the Cycra bend, the handguard is a decent size and it attaches to the front of the aluminum bar, and because they attach to the upper bar clamp as loose or tight as you decide, there are no secondary stiffening effects on the bars themselves.

I actually liked the Hebo bars better than the TwinWalls fitted, not the least because you got more 7/8" real estate for brake and clutch perches, switch gear etc.

thanks guys, seems that the fastway is the choice

which model of fastawy is suitable to the HEBO?

If you're planning to run a damper (Fastway, Scotts, Ohlins etc) choose the F.I.T. 1. It comes with the shields, bark busters, and damper-ready handlebar clamp. The F.I.T. 2 has a one-piece handlebar clamp, while the F.I.T. 3 uses individual clamps on the bars (not unlike the Bonz system).

pm me if you're interested in ordering.

There nice. Only question I have though is if you run bars with a narrow mid section like mini bars or some woods bends, will there be enough straight clamping area for the mounts? Should be easy to tell if they would work for you or not.

In any case, I gave up on direct bar clamped inner mounts a long time ago.

Good point Glenn. I had the make the slot in the guard longer to accept the narrower bars. BTW, forget about bending these.

OK thanks.

the Cycra CRM also look very good!

which cycra model shold i choose for the HEBO?

any issue with the instalation?

Thats the Cycra CRM in eff's photo. I saw them on his bike and they are very nice. Since they do not clamp on the taper of the bar, bar brand/taper does not matter. The point I was making relates to the center clamping width of the bars. Some bars like mini bars (that some tight woods guys like to use for control space) have a more narrow center width, with the upward bend starting closer to center as they are designed for minis with tighter clamp centers. When used on a full size bike, just be sure there is enough straight section outboard of the bar clamps for the CRM clamps to mount to. For you this is easy, just measure this on the bike as it sits now with your bars in the clamps.

Hebo bars used to be tapered like Pro Taper bars, not sure if they still are. I used PT clamps on Hebos in the past, when they were called "Varibars". IMO, tapered clamps are prone to slippage, interfere with hoses, and are a bit old school compared to the other options available.
