Finally got a Scorpion Link Skid, added a HDPE pad for better sliding over obstacles.

As usual, nice work.
But WTF was Gas Gas thinking when they redid the linkage? I can buy an orange bike with those kind of issues.

The orange bikes with links are way lower.. I think they did that to keep the link lovers from riding them in the woods and to think pds must be the best. There has been a lot asking for linkage from Ktm and now they have it.. It's just mx friendly links. Sad... The pds is the worst part of my 04 exc and it has gone thru some work to get it where it is. Just don't like it. Eventually I'll be back on a GG regularly. I'll deal with whatever linkage that bike has,, 12, 13 or the older style if I go used.

Yeah, the KTM shock eye is like a tail hook on a Navy fighter! I can only imagine hitting that, instead of being kicked up you will be ejected! It seems like all the mfgs. linkage has evolved to the same basic design, with the rocker on the swing arm side, only dimensions and attachment methods are unique.

You have to press the steel bushings out of the GG pull rods and into the Scorpion side plates. They came out easy enough in a vise but man, had to move to my hydraulic press for the install, super tight fit.
