Picked up a 2003 EC 125 for my boy. Need help jetting the bike for our altitude. We ride mostly from 5-7000'. Havnt ridden the bike other than around the block. Bike has a FMF fatty pipe and Turbine Core muffler on it. The bike came with a 190 main, 45 pilot, #5 slide and a NBHH needle middle clip. Whats the hot setup on this bike?
Thanks

The recommended jetting from a pretty switched on french gasgas site is
2003-2004 GASGAS 125 EC
Carburetion (Keihin PWK 38 mm.)
Main 192
45 Idle
needle NBHW / 2em
slide 5
plug: BR9EG

So you're pretty close to that at the moment. Best thing to do would be to run it, and see what it runs like, it will probably be too rich due to your elevation, so you shouldn't worry about being lean.

Do you have a link to this French site? I am still looking for a decent needle recommendation for my 11 125...

I've had good results with a DGH needle and 190 - 195 mains in an older '01 XC125. if you would like to experiment with needles thats a starting point. Knowledge base on this bike is small, but its not that much different than the YZ or the Husky. Look what some of the Husky guys are running after they do a PWK carb swap.

125

On cafe husky I saw mains as low as 172 for this altitude on the 125's. The Red JD jetting seems to be popular.
