Maybe you will have to change the fork guards? Just a thought.
The '12s work good on the track! Its the fork. This year I'm going to do some MX open practice days to get more comfortable on reasonable jumps. A few HS races use an MX track as part of the course and it was a weak point for me last year.
I ride a little MX, but I would like to get a few more holeshots at the Hare Scramble races I do. If anyone has a Honda, ktm, ect. and could let me know the diameter of the largest part of the fork tube that would be a great help.
Thanks
You really think that its needed for good HS starts? One thing I have dialed in is starts, almost always holeshot, its all in the timing and an easy in gear kickstart. I don't even remember seeing the AAs use them here.
Yes I do. Last year on my GasGas I got three out of 15 holeshots. Our lines here in VA have 25-40 guys on the line, so any little bit to be out front helps.
Cool our club (CVTR) will be sponsering the first race this year and you may want the holeshot device. I have two but can't remember which bikes they came with. Is there a way I can measure them to see if they will work for you? One may have came with my 2010 Husky TC250 which has 48 kyb's.
I will be at the CVTR race. Thanks to you and your club for all the hard work they put into the race. If you could measure the inside straight across, I'm looking for 2.5 inches.
Thanks
I'll measure them in the AM and get back to you. On the race this year, we will be changing things up quite a bit and weather permitting it should be a good race for you guys.
