Hooray for 2 Strokes!

I know this may get some pumpkin haters all fired up but, I had the pleasure of witnessing an incredible ride at yesterday's Ironman GNCC race in Crawfordsville Indiana. Factory KTM rider and genuine good kid Kailub Russell won the XC1 pro class on a pumpkin 150 XC two stroke. And not just barely, he won by 1-1/2 minutes over a field of pros on 450 four strokes. After the race was over, the bike was raffled off to help fund Kailub's trip to Six Days and Rorry Meads recovery from a spinal injury. Some 13 year old kid won the bike and was there when they drew his name, totally cool!

How could you NOT be happy....for Kailub.....he was flying on that 150!

From what I've read that motor was a full KTM Factory Service motor and suspension!

Hope he does well at the ISDE...... I bet the winner of the bike is jazzed up!!! I know I would be:D

An interesting side note, there were almost 2300 participants at the Ironman this year, breaking a record. There were over 800 bikes in the AM race of which about 400 had no business racing, the carnage was epic!

I used to ride with my pals on there 450's crf/rmz and I was on my ktm sx125 that ktm stuck to them like glue really pissed them off.
2 stroke power ;)

Bet that kid who won the bike was buzzing
Lucky lad
