I need a Fender brace.

I need either the finder brace itself or just the measurements from subframe bolt to rear fender bolt on one side. Fender bag is causing some fender tire love.
Thanks

He is looking for the rear fender brace which is $72.35 #BE250010018 I think you could make one fairly easy if you have a tubing bender.

Year and model???

I have two of those fender braces lying around. One is slightly cracked at one of the mount holes the other is bent from a looping episode... I'd send you either for 5 bucks to cover a flat rate box...

The fender brace will actually cause MORE damage in the event of a back flip as it does not bend and puts all of the force where it mounts to the subframe so the fender cracks instead of bends. More force on the subframe too. This was mentioned by GMP and I demonstrated it to myself. I took it off after that.

The "older" KX style fender listed in the crossover list has ribs formed into it and is more rigid than the newer flat fenders that I've seen. I got mine from UFO. I had a MSR roost pack with tools in it zip tied to the KX fender for a while, no alu brace, and didn't notice any "tire love." I got sick of snagging my boot swinging a leg over and went to a butt pack.

Thanks guys, I don't ride with the bag on very often, usually just for long rides where I need to carry alot of tools and extra tubes. I will likely remove the brace when the bag is not on. Rpduc i'll look into the fender because I really don't like the idea of the brace taking out the subframe.

No Brace?

I have an EC300 2004. I can't ride it without a fender brace. The rear fender really flops around without it and the tire ate up my taillight. Does anyone have a taillight for sale? I switched my subframe out for a 98 KX subframe everything bolted right up except the seat, and that was an easy fix, so stress on the subframe is not an issue now.
