Year and model???
I have two of those fender braces lying around. One is slightly cracked at one of the mount holes the other is bent from a looping episode... I'd send you either for 5 bucks to cover a flat rate box...
The fender brace will actually cause MORE damage in the event of a back flip as it does not bend and puts all of the force where it mounts to the subframe so the fender cracks instead of bends. More force on the subframe too. This was mentioned by GMP and I demonstrated it to myself. I took it off after that.
The "older" KX style fender listed in the crossover list has ribs formed into it and is more rigid than the newer flat fenders that I've seen. I got mine from UFO. I had a MSR roost pack with tools in it zip tied to the KX fender for a while, no alu brace, and didn't notice any "tire love." I got sick of snagging my boot swinging a leg over and went to a butt pack.
