The light in your link does not specify DC voltage. It is possible that it may function on AC. LED emitters can work on AC, they just aren't as efficient. In most cases a DC specification means there is some circuitry in the light that must be powered using DC current.

There are some lights that do list AC voltage since they have internal rectifying circuitry that will convert the AC voltage to an internal DC voltage.

Try the light and see what happens. In the worst case you will need to add a voltage rectifier. This could be a small fullwave rectifier directly in series with your light.

If your bike already has lights, I'm pretty sure you have DC system on it, even without estart, especially on 2013. All 2014 have DC and they didn't change electrics. It was the older bikes that had AC only.

I?ve been wanting to add a fan and led head light to my 14 ec300r for a while. Now I know I have dc power. Was a little unsure.
