Ok, so while replacing the plug to cure the 450 I notice the clear insulating covering on the coil is torn. I really don't like that. Probably came from replacing the plug....# 5 I think in 4300 miles. She seems to destroy them I guess but never had one die while riding down the road before now...anyway.........I decide it needs "fixing".
Teflon tape is good from -450 to +500F, so I gave it a few good wraps and feel much better. I seems it has to be better than the exposed wire. I'm tempted to do the whole thing.
Thoughts? Possible issues?
