I had been running a jetting set up that was tolerable, but far from perfect. With kids and a demanding job I just didn't have the time to tune any better. My options were to either go for a much needed ride or spend my precious ride time tuning. So about six months ago I bought a "used" JD jet kit and finally committed to installing it last night.
I read their recommendations, made a few educated guesses and went for a test ride today. I was totally committed to spend the time to tune, instead I spent the next two hours riding a bike that was finally running near perfect! It even idles!!!!
