Kickstarter needed for an '04 300

My kicker said see you later this Sunday at a Harescramble. Killed the bike twice, both times after my kicker went missing. I had threadlock on the bolt, but did have an impressive cartwheel near wide open, so anything could've happened. Anybody got one?

I think I have a spare one in the garage - I pulled it off and put on a YZ kickstarter. FYI - After using the YZ kicker, I had no desire to use the stocker again...

I'll take a look tonight.

I'm not real picky, but I know we have the part number listed for the YZ kicker, but which bike is it actually off of?

I purchased it a couple of years ago - yz250. I think it is the same part number to current model yz250.

I am fairly sure I have a good kickstarter on the shelf at home - but i threw some old parts into a box when I sold my '01. I'll check and get back to you tonite.

I checked and have one - it's off an '01 but it will fit. Drop me a PM if you want it.

But, I really think you should take this as a sign from the gods that you need a better one! YZ or newer gasgas kickers are longer.

I'd say your right on the YZ kicker, but I never had any trouble kicking it with the stocker. I do have trouble keeping it around apparently.

I have a kick starter from an '04 EC 450fse, I don't know if the spline is the same but if you want it I'll take $35.00.
That includes shipping

The YZ starter is better than the GG part not only because its longer, but because its closed at the top and sealed at the bottom with an o-ring. It should last much longer than the GG starter that has no seals.

I received a used piece from Jeff today. What a beauty, looks and works better than my stocker, and it's a stock Gassed unit. Time to put the 262 Loctite on the bolt. I'm hoping I never need to take it off again.
