kriega haul loop

kriega loop

I just seen, the Kriega info. And I wonder how the rear loop would mount too, anyone?

I've got KTM straps on my 2011 GasGas. The KTM straps were supposed to wrap under and attach to the bolts on the whale tail rear fender. Instead I pulled off my seat and drilled a hole in each side of the subframe, tapped them and attached the strap to each side.

I'm using a junk phone so the picture quality is terrible. This is a side shot.

I put one bolt on each side. Simply drill and tap. The strap came with aluminum collars. You can't see the bolt on each side because the fender fits over them perfectly. Its works fine and I haven't had any problems.

That looks like a good fit; any chance you know if the subframe used on the EC300 is the same as the EC200? I'd like to get something for my 200, but don't know about fitment.

Any issues with it "binding" your seat or applying too much pressure to the seat bolt when "tugging"? I envision the strap pinching your seat together, possibly putting stress on that bolt.

I think the subframes should be similar but I'm not sure. The strap doesn't seem to bind the seat at all. I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

Btw, in the first two pictures I have the strap tucked in under the seat. That may be why you thought it would bind the seat. Actually the strap is long and just comes up the side of the seat and doesn't bind at all.

Thanks for the quick reply :D

I think these will go on the Xmas list for the bike; didn't have one on my 300, but think I'll do so on this bike.

They are really helpful. I seem to use the front one a lot.

Moto - one additional question, which brand did you go with? Rocky Mtn has Highline Rec listed for KTM, though I think there are others out there. Probably all the same, but wanted to check.
