kx brake pedal crossover

I snapped my brake pedal over the weekend, and was searching for an economical replacement. Checking the cross over list, it appears a KX brake pedal could be used as a replacement for the stock unit. Can anyone speak as to what year KX pedal should I look for, and what modifications were needed if any?

This topic has been brought up several times and it has been done, but no one has put up a definitive post about the year, model and any mods needed.

what years the bike? if its 12-13 just swap it out with a 2014/15 genuine pedal. pre that there are plenty of aftermarket ones available. dont know were the kx one fits in...

I know that some KX pedal or another fits the 12/13's a buddy of mine had it done but didn't know the year.

It was Keith Novello's old bike built at Motoventure in Loveland so they would probably know.
