Latest aquisition

Here is my latest bike I have picked up for vintage racing. It is a '74 250 Montesa King Scorpion Automix that has been converted to look like a Cappara.

No time, maybe something like this later for a hobby when I stop racing modern bikes. It brings back memories of bike lust though, as a kid in high school I had to settle for a YZ.

Relic Raceway near Stony Plain,AB. It is on private land. All natural and lots of fun!

Looked like a lot of fun. Great looking bike.

It is a great handling bike, but the gearing is way off. If anyone has a VR (73m) transmission around I could use it.

I really like your gas cap sealing device! And that suicide throttle cable brings back memories!

It fell off in practice so I did the duct tape. Just like the factory riders used to do it!

If it holds it on then thats all you need to get the job done......like the tank straps on the early CZs and Yamaha YZs
