Leg Pegs - Installed On my 2011 EC250

I was looking for Steg Pegz or Leg Pegs for my 2011 EC250 and both manufacturers didn't have a specific model for our bikes. The folks at brapoffroad.com reached out to Steg Pegz and they would need a bike to test the fit or could send me one for a KTM and maybe it would work. I reached out to the distributor of Leg Pegs at www.legpegs.com and spoke to Mike (I'm 99% this is his name, not positive). He looked at the microfiche on Gofasters website and said the subframe looked like the 2008-2010 KTM's. He said if they didn't work, to send them back and he would refund my money and pay for return shipping. You can't beat that customer service. The only adjustment that needed to be made to install these were to remove the plastic frame guard or cut around them and add two washers on the left side to allow the leg pegs to clear the subframe. So...they fit perfect. The leg pegs are $129 and come in black or silver. Ask for the following model, "KTM: 08-10 All 250-530 two and four strokes". If you would like to see a picture, shoot me an email at dalton550@gmail.com as I'm not on the forum on a regular basis.

I've been meaning to look into those after seeing them on a bike at an enduro this past March. Seems like a great idea.
Thanks for your effort. I'd like pics and I will post them here. Email sent.

do you have to remove them to get the side cover off to remove your air filter? Has anyone ever try making them homemade? what kind of materiel is the part that comes in contact with your boot?

Are there any Steg/Leg Peg owners out there?

Since there seems not to be any available for pre-2012 bikes, I am thinking of making makeshift ones for my 2009 EC300.

Would someone take measurements, please?

If taking the middle row of the footpeg as a starting point, how much up and to the rear is the middle of the leg peg rubber pad?
