Hey all, just a quick question. I picked up a used 2012 ec250r. The prior owner removed all the lighting. I'd like it back. Can someone confirm the attached pic is the voltage regulator? And that it needs to be connected to the yellow power wire coming from the stator and to the ground? Right now I have the yellow from the stator connected to the yellow from the switch and the yellow/green grounded. Everything lights with the switch but i'm afraid as soon as I rip the throttle it'll blow the light. Thanks guys. dave

Yes. You are right. You need that one to keep the (AC) voltage within limits. Connect it as you suggest, and you should be good to go. Mine (on the 06) is mounted in one of the coil screws.

Just to be 100% certain, you could of course measure the voltage using a multimeter (on AC) before connecting the lights.
