LTR revalve

I recently got an 05 250 (45mm zokes/Ohlins) and sent the forks and shock to Les (LTR) for a revalve/service/respring. I've been putting off writing this review because I wanted to get a chance to really test it out. My initial impression was really good - plush and balanced on choppy rooty trails. But I actually doubted that it was going to work in the sand whoops we have in Florida. So I figured the best way to find out was to ride the Alligator enduro in Daytona (on the second to last row too!) And.....it worked great! If I'm going to be picky (I am) I'll probably add a little oil to the forks to fight bottoming but otherwise it's awesome. Best all around suspension I think I've had yet. Les was very helpful and his prices are much better than what I have paid in the past for suspension work.

Good to hear, as I may eventually send my Sachs units all the way out there after break-in. Pretty typical report from LTR customers. I don't think I've ever heard a negative report about his work.

If I was you I would send my Sachs stuff to Les when your ready for them to work the way they can. Last time I was in Les' shop I saw first hand what he does to the Sachs stuff. It is very meticulous and tedious work. Portions Of the internals he uses in the fork is hand built by him.

For sure Les will get the sachs working better. Not Ohlins better but alot better then stock. I have a 09 250r and was about to toss the suspension but decided to give Les a chance. Let me tell you it is definetly worth it if you want to keep the suspension. Ive been using the reworked sachs for the last 4 months and it is working beautifully. A little soft but it could be me gaining weight.

Send it to Les you won't be disappointed.
