Magura clutch master (question)

This is for my 2011 EC300.

A late model KTM 2T 9.5mm will work, correct?

Plug and play (same thread pitch?) , or do I need to get a new line made?

Thanks in advance.

I used one on my 04 with a stock KTM line. It has been a while but I think the Gasgas line is different at the master cylinder. With the line and master cylinder no mods were required.

Oops, just realized you said Magura. I used a Brembo like on the 250 and 300 KTM's. Don't know about the Magura. It might be different.

All late model ktm's are Brembo I believe.

Ahh that is right for the 2T's, believe the 4T's are Magura.

The new GG's have a 9.5 mm Magura, correct?

Will find out, I ordered one already...if it works... great, if not we have a place here that will build me a new hose.

Magura 9.5

I could be wrong, but I believe the 4 stroke ktms are Brembo too.

I recently rebuilt my Magura 9.5 on my 2012. I was under the impression that just the 2012 GG were Magura and they switched back to AJP for 2013??? Call GoFasters, he knows. He told me the deal but I can't remember exactly.

9.5mm Magura works, at least older model. I do not think that there is any change in clutch line thread. Please note that You need master cylinder to work with mineral hydraulic fluid so Brembos which are meant to work with DOT4/DOT5.1 are not compatible.
In my personal opinion Magura is not an upgrade over the stock AJP which is actually a very nice unit. A bit less bling than Magura but thats not relevant to me.

My 08 KTM 300 was Brembo and my 08 505 was Magura. Haven't looked at the brand new KTM's though...

I don't know, my AJP leaked from day one. I am tired of fussing with it.

I bought the new style Magura, looks to be a bit more compact than the old style.

Yep, we used mineral oil quite a bit for mountain bike disk brakes, have a liter of Pentosin somewheres in the workshop...

Actually mine used to leak, too, but as it was on 2 years old bike which was well used (and somewhat abused :)) I just swapped in the rebuild kit - cheap job, 5 minutes and done. No problems since then.

Mine has been rebuilt twice. Figured I would just buy a whole new master this time around.

Fair enough. I actually suspect that I used some 'wrong' detergent to clean or wash my bike that was harmful to rubber details - maybe WD-40 or other similar stuff. Who knows - at least I had no problems since the rebuild and the clutch feel is excellent also. So no complaints.
