l have posted this on the other gasgas forum , so to get good coverage , so sorry if you have read it already :o :o

I have to replace the exhaust pipe on my 05 ec 250 , the old one is well dented and after entering the weston beach race this year , its fair to say its past its best , l have been in touch with Messico Racing in Italy and they can supply one to me , even with the shipping it will be cheaper than a FMF , they also look cool so they must be good right ?!?!? , my question is has anybody used one of these pipes , the model l am after is the standard one as they aslo make a "racing" model , am l right in thinking that Messico supplys or has supplied GASGAS with pipes at some point and that they where/are OE on Euro supplied bikes

My '03 MC 250 came with a messico pipe on it. It runs & looks great.
I recently bolted on a FMF power core2 silencer. I believe they (messico) were a supplier for gas gas back then. If you can get one at a good price direct, go for it.

Hi!

My new MC250 has a racing Messico as standard. They still supply pipes to gasgas. At least for the MC models. As I remember a 07 EC300 had a quite similar "GG" pipe... Probably an FMF Gnarly is stronger but overall Messico is top brand. My old '98 EC250 had one as well and it lasted well. Small dents everywhere without affecting power.

My '05 MC has the Messico. I belive the EC(DE) 250 came with a FMF for more low end. Only difference in motors is the MC has higher compression, less flywheel, and and I've heard that the MC pipes are high performance, high RPM pipes and the FMF are more suited for tight woods riding and low end power delivery delivery. The messico is a thinner guage steel then the FMF
