I would suggest a 2k2 igntion because it alows the bike to rev more freely. I am going to make the switch soon, when i get some money. I would also like to try RB desinges head and carb mods for more power.

The head squish/modification and explanation is listed in the Tech Articles.

2K2 ignition will help (it's just marginally lighter than the 2K3 but the 2K3 carries it's weight different) , remove reed spacer if you have one, different pipes you can try, thinner base gasket, carb can be bored out to 39mm to increase mid to top end.

What year? What type of power are you looking for? The VForce definately helps the older bikes with the RAD valve. Getting the squish set right is good and you can run a CDI from an MC250 or EC200.

Could you please explain how a lighter flywheel would create more power? In my world it gives you a snappier engine not more power.

You are correct, a bit snappier power but not more. A different CDI "could" possibly give it more power. Also depending on the year bike he has (he didn't say) it's possible the ignition map is in the rain mode setting which would mellow the power a bit. Just a thought.
