You might like this, was on uk tv a couple of years ago all about the 500 2 strokes called "the unrideables" ;p. It's pretty good

I missed seeing the age of the superheros (find a copy of the book on Amazon its fantastic) but I did go to the last 6years of the 500 era at Philip Island and it was spectacular.
