so the time has come to completely rebuild my bottom end, does anyone have any input on rebuilding the counterbalanced engine?

motopsycho in the uk listed the parts needed bearings/seals etc but his was a newer engine so no balancer shaft

im looking to put a cr250 conrod kit in it as i already bought a wiseco cr250 forged piston and have had the cylinder re-chromed

theres no wonder gasgas are not popular bikes the spares prices are nothing short of ridiculous and this is not the full crankcase of bearing and seals that i requested.

"Hello

total daylight robbery and lets face it I trust japanese quality 1000% more than spanish

check this place out for parts. http://www.motocrosscenter.com/ecommerce/index.php?cPath=667&language=en

Almost all bearings and seals are commonly available industrial parts. Take it apart and read or measure the numbers of the existing parts and buy them from a bearing supply store or you can find them on Ebay for other Japanese bikes or KTM bikes. You will save lots of money that way.

+1 to that!
It takes a bit more involvement and time that way, but a good idea all around.
