i finished my first ever race today, in a sand based forest.
its a 2man cross country series. but we decided to compete in the ironman or solo class. track was 20 off ks long. did 4 laps. and finished 34th in class.

im very happy with that, as its my first ever competitive ride. and im still in one piece and so is the bike. the gasgas performed faultlessly, i love enduro 2 strokes

Yeah noobs what he^^^ said.No helmet cam clips of you falling off.Even a piccy of the promo girls will do.Not that you gave them a squirt on the podium, that time may come in the distant future.

Ata boy noobs. You must love that sandy forest. The concentration look is intense.Your a champion.

thanks mate !!!:D
i am starting to get use to the sand now. be weird to ride on clay when the rides start up again:D
more like how much longer do i have to ride for. but that race was the hardest thing iv ever done. ever.
was so stuffed by the end of it. just collapsed when i got back to the car.
we should meet up at a trail ride sometime.

We will noobi, we will.Probaly in a dark slimy hole up the neasville.I rarely travel north but do all the rides in the greater waikato in summer.I did the kuratau ride and have shot thru to queensland for the winter to enjoy the sun(bloody great) but miss some hardass winter riding.Ah them the breaks.Roll on summer I say.

as soon as i sort out some sharp tyres, i want to try the wires, gutbuster and neavesville tracks. just because its one of the mad things you do....
theres this trail ride http://www.silver-bullet.co.nz/event.php?id=6856
if this is the one im thinking of, its a bloody awesome trail, well worth doing. last year it had 980 bikes there, and we all had to park along a ridge of a hill, car park was bout 3k long....
