My rear brake pedal sux

I replaced to pivot bushing pin with one from checkpoint and it helped the problem some, but I think the bushing (or actual pedal) is worn causing much side to side slop. The foot rest on the pedal is tiny and so close to the clutch cover. Is there another pedal that can be adapted to an 11' ec300 or should I just pony up and buy a new stock pedal for $110? It wouldn't be so bad if I could replace the foot rest on the pedal with something bigger/wider? I just joined this forum, I haven't had the bike long , but have raced it several times and really like everything about it, except the brake pedal.

Curious.

I did the bushing and thought it was so much better. After a couple of rides it seems to be moving around again.

OK instead of starting a new thread. I figured I'd ask here.

My bike is a '99. I bought the checkpoint bushing a while ago and it's been on the back burner. Got the big items done now working away at the little item list. Anyway my frame what checkpoint calls a bushing is a pivot on my frame. It's actually welded on.

Any thoughts what I should do? I have a friend who is a machinist and can make anything I want within reason.

If I remember correctly, the checkpoint bushing goes between the pedal and the frame tab. If the bushing is a top hat, the brim of the hat goes against the frame tab, and the hat portion goes through the pedal. This is from my recollection of my 2002, which was several years ago, and I've slept since then.

On my bike the "bushing" is welded to the frame tab
