My Riding Vids

Nice Stuff!

Great update! I am running two golden tires right with tubliss and they holding up well. I need to buy one of those brake fins.

Love the Goldentyre GT216AA fatty fronts. That is the gold standard when it comes to fronts, IMO, and is what I compare all others to. The Bridgestone X31 90/100 front is right there with it yet tries to climb ruts a lot less than the GT.

Since GT discontinued the GT523KX rear tire I haven't found one of their rears that I like. I tried the GT369X and GT333 and didn't like either. I guess I probably should give the GT216 rear a try at some point.

Yeah, that brake cooler makes a difference. I have a really bad habit of not moving my right foot much and I tend to drag the rear brake without realizing it. After playing with my brake pedal height, bleeding the system with fresh DOT4, and that little cooler, I haven't cooked the rear brake even once. I love cheap yet effective upgrades!

Last weekend I did a night ride with my club. This was my first ever night ride on singletrack. It was an illuminating (Ha!) experience and hope to do it again soon.

First, just talking about the light setup my buddy Beers and I used and testing it.
