Need some help please.

Hello everyone,

I hope some one can help here? I have a 2009 EC 250. The other day my engine started making a strange noise? It?s like a kettle whistling ish noise, thinking low or high pressure? Is this a top end? Or is it some thing more serious? The bike runs fine just a loud noise from the front of the exhaust area?

Have you checked your exhaust spigot mount and the spigot o-rings??

not sure if the newer models are different but GG used an aluminum pipe mount bolted to the cylinder. Pull your pipe and see if the o-rings are blown or if the pipe mount might be cracked. Someone makes an aftermarket steel mount (or used to) GoFasters might stock it if that's what you need.
