new and in need

hi guys im new here i live in redruth in cornwall uk, i have an 02 (i think) ec 200, great bike cant fault it one little bit, although im having great difficulty obtaining info on my machine i want to change the plastics from blue to yellow do i have to get the right plastics for the year of my bike or will newer ones fit or can i use plastics from the likes of a yz? also im after a side stand, i contacted a firm they quoted me 46 quid plus the vat which i tought was a bit steep for just a stand, again is there anything else i can use ? thanks in advance

I think with the 02 you should be fine with a newer set of plastics.
They made some tank and seat changes after 99' so those will be no good for you, but my buddy has 06 plastics on his 00' so your 02' should be fine.
Although not sure what will fit in the yellow color.
