I picked up a low hours 2013 xc300e race yesterday! I'm stoked! With all the turmoil going on within the company, I wasn't sure if wanted to go this route or pick up another KTM. With talks moving forward, buyers presented and (from I took away from the reading) all 3 potential buyers wish to continue with GG production, I decided to take the leap. Won't get to hit the trails until next weekend, but can't wait! I noticed the estart will probably need the Bendix spring stretched a little due to it not catching every time. Anything else I need to tweak before I hit the trails? Thanks!

Not too far from me, I have a lot of riding buddies that ride at those places.
If you race in the area, you may know them already. The only thing wrong with them is that they are all on those damned pumpkins!

Thanks y'all! I'm in western North Carolina. I mainly ride at brown mountain and brushy mountain
Our dealer Fred Jensen at Wilmington Power Sports has an informal Thanksgiving holiday ride at Brushy. Not sure the exact date but will let you know. I need to check the place out too. A little farther South from you, is my favorite place "Enoree"

Nice man - congrats :cool::cool:

Post up your impressions after you get to know her a bit; always like reading ride reports from other parts of the states (and globe).

I like the colors on that '13, she looks to be in perfect shape too :D

Thanks everyone! Went on the maiden voyage today and I must say I already love the bike! I rode brown mountain in western North Carolina. It's been raining all week here so it was a good day to get acclimated to the bike :D

The terrain here is real rocky and rooty. I'm running the stock six days tires and they held up well considering the slippery rocks and roots. I was riding a 08 KTM 250xcw before the GG and while it is a little heavier, I feel the weight thing is blown out proportion(picking it up off the ground...yes a few roots got me lol)

I ran both ignition mappings and could def tell a difference(was surprised there)

Overall I enjoyed my time on it today and looking forward to logging many more hours on it!

**my buddy pointed this out...the metzeler six days front looks exactly like the golden tyre front(not sure which model)
