Mena was GG junior rider back in 2006. We took care of him at the world rounds in New York and Canada. Back then he was a "very determined" rider as his manager would say. Sadly I had to hang with him at the hospital in Canada for about 10 hours waiting on x=rays from a shoulder injury. He wanted to ride the next day! After that Husaberg had bigger pocket books but if this is true, i'm happy for him and for GG.

It seems that GasGas' strategy of being the school of champions is not compatible with more experienced riders who are eager to monetize their skills.

Surely GG and beta are pretty much the same category in terms of size so in theory should be able to pay the same price?
It' not about ability - it's about business model.
Nope. The news is that he has finally resolved his outstanding issues with the GasGas after his abrupt termination of the contract.
offroadchampions.com has Mena signing with Beta.
