Whats happening with GasGas South Africa

I am a GasGas owner in South Africa and I am becoming a little worried at the availability of spares and after sale service. Wayne Farmer is 100% helpful but I still don't see any adverts in local bike mag's for GasGas. We hear that its been taken over, but no announcement are officially made. Has any body got some information on what's happening or about to happen?
