New to gasgas, trouble with getting grip

Heya guys!

IO would like to start with to say, im sorry for my bad spelling, im from sweden

But here comes my issue, i think it?s fork related.

When i drive my GasGas 300EC 2012, when i turn it?s like your breaking with the front brakes... You understand my issue? Even tho i turn, my bike keep going forward.

I took apart my fokrs yesturday, and the oil looked really bad tbh. So im gonna refill my forks and hope that this gonna solve my issue.

My thinking was first that maybe my breaks wasent working propperly, but they do.
I hope you undetstand my issue, and can give me a few pointers, ive foundout that i have Sachs forks, and it should be 612cl in them and around 130mm of oild level, is that correct?

you don't overscrew the clamp bolts, are you?
how's the head bearing?

With clamps bolt you mean the 4 bolts thats going from the fork down at the wheel?
Or is it the top and lower clamp your talking about?
I think that the head bearing is fine, cant feel anyhting wrong there.

I mean the lower clamp.... on the triple clamp... the three bolts on each side (about 12N)

Nevertheless do a full service on the forks, inspect the system to move freely...
If you have the closed cartridge marzocchis you must replace the inner cartridge oil too... stick to specs and ride

According to the manual for my year, it's Sachs.
Im about to change oil in the forks to day.
So around 12nm for the 3 bolts. Is it the same for the 2 upper ones as well?

I really hope this will make the bike run great again. Its awful riding it atm.

Make certain that the rear shock sag, with rider, is set correctly. If it's too soft, or too much sag, it'll turn like you describe.

Do 10-12N on the two side ones on the lower clamp and just bolt by hand the middle one cause if you tight it the others go loose and at the end you end up over torquing them. (which might stop the fork leg moving freely)

On the upper clamp go 14-16N, guess there is a corrected torque table somewhere

Your bike is "over steering". Definitely check rear sag. Fork rebound may be too fast.

It's the amount the rear suspension depresses with the rider on the bike. The standard amount is 100mm (approximately 4 inches)

Ive read and heard that you should turn it in completley and then
count the clicks from there, is that correct?
