New to the fold

Hello fellow Gassers, Brad here from Colorado. I had never heard of GG until about a week ago. Did tons of research online, talked with a couple dealer/riders, found a new '05 FSE450 at a dealer 4 hours away, went for a look and brought her home two days ago. :D I'm stoked! This is my first dirt bike in around 15 years. My other ride is a hot-rod Harley, and I really like the way fuel injected bikes run, so that is what first caught my eye on the GG, not to mention the Marzocci forks, Ohlins shock, FMF muffler, and really nice street-legal features. A couple of questions; what can you guys tell me about clipping the gray wire for a richer fuel map? Does it improve power or starting? Mine is rather hard to start when cold. What about the Rekluse clutch? I am a trail/jeep road rider, not a racer. Any experience with this clutch. Any other ideas you have done to your FSE?
Good to meet you all.

Was it gray? Anyway, mine was also hart to start when cold. Disconnecting the mapping selector wire made a difference. Mine now always start second 2-second starter blip. When warm it starts first time if I open the throttle ever so slightly. Take up the wire slack, and a little little more. Starts immediately. BRRRROOOOM :D

Not gray, Red. I talked to another guy who lives near me, he had the same comment regarding the mapping selector. We have had another 2 feet of snow here this weekend. Skiing is great, but I have summer and motorcycles on the brain. Will have to haul down to lower elevation when the snow melts down there. Thanks for your comments.
