Aaron Wegner won the opening round of the D14 (and D15) enduro series in Roselawn IN this weekend on a 2011 Six Days 250.

Suspension tuning involved backing out two on the Zoke 45 fork compression (to 19), and dialing in another click on shock rebound.

He may go even faster with some suspension mods, but the matter of fact is that the stock stuff works.

Rory Mead, whos a NZ enduro champ, hopped on a bone stock, brand new 2011 300e at an extreme race that I was at. He burnt out the clutch in his enduro-ised YZF450 after 2 laps, so he borrowed the gasgas from the importer, who just got the bike out of the container. Rode the stock gg for 2 laps, and set the fastest lap on it, and won the event. On a bike he literally just jumped onto and started racing, no time for set up or anything.

Also, the race was probably the hardest thing iv ever ridden, hills that need ropes etc, and it was wet clay, steep. You get the idea

Just to reinforce the just right idea

BTW, this was zoke 45s and ohlins shock.

Wouldn't that be great to get him on a gasser for a season.
You've got more inside info than DRD magazine!
